It is like a small introduction into the autobiography of the writer.

- When using the personal pronoun "I" we gain a connection with the writer, as it seems like a conversational piece and we are hearing her real life occurrences about her marriage life.
- "Doubt on the big day" and "falling in love for real" as quotations are used as powerful messages that sum up her events.
- Emotive language is used to gain sympathy from the audience.
