Camera angles, in this document shows throughout a bird’s eye view of England and then focuses in on London areas. This then generalises it to particular areas; however when doing this it misinterprets certain areas and shows outsiders of the area that it is violent and disruptive.


For most of the showing of the deviant behaviour, we can only see eye-witnesses shooting the disorderly actions. This shows that documentation no longer has to be filmed by the media, but by the audience witnessing the event.

This was a programme, trying to recreate and show the reality of the riots during Summer. In the documentation, they try to address all the problems that could have impacted on the events that happened. 

To make it more realistic interpretation they: 

•  Used real-life events 
• The programme was shot in the actual areas that were looted 
• Used clips from news occurrences
•  Witness testimonies and interviews
